On October 27. the Zeta Sigma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi carpooled to Little Rock for a day of fun, food, and shopping. What a great time was had by all who went. First it was The Esse Purse Museum on Main Street. This is the only purse museum in the United States and only one of three in the world. The museum shows the evolution of the 20th century American woman through her purses and their contents. There was also a temporary exhibit of shoes as worn by women during the same period. The exhibits are very well done and so much fun to see. They also had a great gift shop with unique items, most but not all related to purses and what can be carried in them. We then walked a short distance to have lunch at South on Main and dessert at the Community Bakery. Upon leaving Little Rock, there was a stop to shop at the new stores open in Conway at the Lewis Crossing Shopping Center. Another fun social outing planned by our wonderful social committee.
