Then, on Saturday, October 19th, join us for Superintendent’s Revenge, an exciting golf tournament hosting four-person teams at our beautiful Indian Hills Golf Course!
OKTOBERFEST: Sat Oct 5th
“Six years, and we’re still having a blast at Oktoberfest,” says Fairfield Bay Mayor Paul Wellenberger. “This year, we’ve expanded our KidsFest with a ton more FREE activities, added a bunch of contests, and are bringing in so much for families to do all day long. We can’t wait to see everyone!”
It’s an All-Day Affair from 9am to 9pm!
Free and open to the public, OktoberFest begins at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5th. Come walk around the multitude of craft and food vendors – you may just find that one-of-a-kind item you can’t live without! Multiple entertainment stages will feature musical acts all day long. And as expected at all great German festivals, there will be no shortage of authentic German fare and drink, served in the beautiful conference center starting at 11am until 8pm. Plan to stay all day and enjoy the evening with Paul Tull and the Red Neckties Band. Add to this an expanded KidsFest, a Volksmarch with a marching band, games, contests, and lots of fun and laughter to make for a full day!
Music, music, music!
This year, the music never stops! Put on your best dancing shoes and tear it up to the sounds of Breeze, Greg Duggan, Kay Sharpe and many more. Closing the all-day festival is live entertainment from Paul Tull and the Red Neckties Band, playing in the beautiful conference center great room. Grab a dance partner, or just come and listen.
Expanded KidFest
The expanded KidsFest includes all sorts of new FREE activities. Back by popular demand, princess carriage rides and bouncy houses will be where all the kids can play the afternoon away. Stop by the exotic petting zoo and see Roo, the baby kangaroo, visit the Conway Train, and Marty the Magic Balloon Man from America’s Got Talent will be on hand. The local Boy Scouts will be having a Cast Iron Cookoff, and the majestic Clydesdales, sponsored by the Cowboy Auto Group, will make an appearance. New this year, we’ll be offering a Stuff-a-Bear Workshop for a small fee, where kids can create their own, one-of-a kind stuffed friend to take home.
A Contest for Everyone!
Think you’re a winner? We have a variety of contests for you! Come show us your talents in yodeling, a beer stein lift, best beer belly, and best German costume (male and female). Think your legs have what it takes? We have contests for the sexiest, the hairiest, and the most athletic legs. Join in and you may just take home a prize!
