Time to get outside and enjoy. Spring is almost here.
We are beginning to see the first signs of spring—flowers are starting to bloom—promising us that spring will soon be here. We want to especially welcome all of our Spring Break Families. The 2018 Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt will be held on March 31st (2-4pm) and it will be big! We are in the process of booking kid-prize booths. The FFB Fire Department will again provide free fire truck rides for the kids. Kirk of the Hills Church will be selling hot dogs which benefits building wheel chair ramps for seniors and the handicapped. We will also do the Easter Bonnet Parade again this year. Please plan to attend.
Our weekly craft classes will continue this month.

• Tie dye T-Shirts Wednesdays @10:00;
• Sock figures craft Thur. @ 2:00;
• Making Bath Bombs/Fizzies @ 2:00pm on Wednesdays. Classes are only $10 and that includes all necessary supplies! Classes are open to everyone. (Younger children may require parental assistance.)
The exciting news is that Woodland Mead Park Mini-Golf and Disc-Golf will open on March 12 for the season! We will be open 10am to 6pm Monday through Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6:00PM.
The Recreation Office has the following equipment available for rental/check out: tennis racquets & balls, pickle ball, horseshoes, basketballs, shuffleboard, games, and movie rentals on weekdays. Basketballs and Shuffleboard equipment will be available for checkout after March 12th at Woodland Mead Park.

Our excitement here continues to grow. It’s almost like Christmas here at Recreation. We are now receiving merchandise deliveries almost every day for our Cool Pool Souvenir Shop and you are going to like our new and exciting merchandise!
