November 14th Veteran’s Appreciation Breakfast: Breakfast for the Brave will be held every Wednesday in November Roller McNutt invites you to join them as they welcome all Veteran’s and their families to enjoy a free continental breakfast at their location in Clinton. Future dates are November 21st, and 28th.
November 15th 6:00 P.M. Van Buren County Quorum Court: Meetings of the Van Buren County Quorum Court are held the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:00 p.m. at the Van Buren County Annex building off Highway 65 in Clinton.
November 15th 6:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. Clinton City Council Meeting: Meetings of the Clinton City Council are usually held the 2nd Thursday of every month at the Clinton Municipal Airport off Hwy 16 East. The public and all press & media are invited to attend.

November 20th 6:00 P.M. Clinton Advertising and Promotion Meeting: The Clinton A&P Commission meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 P.M. at the Clinton Municipal Airport on Hwy 16 East. The meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
November 24th Small Business Saturday: Join us for this national shopping holiday where we spend the day visiting our local shops to enjoy unique items, personal service, and a chance to support the people that are helping drive our economy. For every dollar spent at a locally owned business 68% of that dollar stays in the local economy providing a stronger economic setting where everyone prospers. Shop local and we all win.
November 24th 12:00 Christmas Parade and Toy & Food Drive: This event will be held at the City Park on Main Street just east of KHPQ. There will be food, beverages, and Santa will give a toy to any child in need under 12. Donations of food and toys can be made at the Clinton Chamber of Commerce and Dr. Ralph Tester’s Office. This event is hosted by the Flame Riders, CMA, and Chapter 911.
November 27th 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. Behold The Lamb: The Live Nativity will start The Tuesday after thanksgiving @ 6 and @7 it is free and everyone is welcome. This event will be held at the VBC fairgrounds in Clinton Ar.
December 1st Christmas in Clinton: Big news, everyone! Christmas in Clinton is GROWING and CHANGING. This year, the team is working on several exciting additions.
1) BUSINESS EXPO: Clinton Schools will host a shopping expo to help jumpstart the “SmartTable” student food program. If you have a retail biz, or sell home-based products, contact DAPPLE at 501-745-8407 for booth space & advertising.
2) CHRISTMAS AT THE PARK: The official lighting of Archey Fork Park will kick off early with FREE hot chocolate, caroling, old-fashioned hayrides, costume contest, Bonfire, and more! Contact GAYLA at 501-253-1799 to get involved.

December 8th 6:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Festival of Hope & Lights: It’s almost time for community’s only Black Tie Gala! The Ozark Health Foundation will host the Festival of Hope & Lights Gala on December 8 at the Fairfield Bay Conference Center. Tickets are $100 and on sale at Faye’s Diamond Mine, The Sweet Shoppe in Fairfield Bay, and by calling the Foundation Office at (501) 745-9303. All money raised through the Foundation is used to purchase Medical Equipment and fund scholarships.
December 8th 10:00 A.M. – Noon Picking on the Square: Join other local residents for an acoustic music jam in Clinton on the historical downtown square under the big tree on the west side of the court house (during inclement weather session will be held in the Van Buren County Democrat Office). This is an acoustic gathering so no mics or amps. Bringing a chair is recommended, come join our musical circle or just stop by and listen.
