On Tuesday, October 6, 2015 your entire Board, along with our General Manager, Paul Wellenberger; Chief Financial Officer, Rocky Nickles; and Assistant General Manager, Sharon Boone met with the managers of each of our departments to review the Club’s 2015 Budget performance and set the 2016 Budget amounts. The meeting, while lasting 8 ½ hours, was immensely productive, not only from an informative and Board Member participation standpoint, but a past and present department evaluation as well. Thru the efforts of all present a clear understanding of our present and future initiatives enabled us to complete a rough draft of the Club’s 2016 Budget, which now can be presented for final review and approval by the Club’s General Manager and Board.
During the budget process, the overall profitability, performance, subsidies, and future expectations were reviewed and discussed with a new emphasis and vision given. While Fairfield Bay continues its growth, it is vitally important that we place our efforts on those areas which we can all benefit and profit from. As we attract a new generation of people to our community, it still remains a goal to serve members and guests with the best we can offer within our current dues structure. Our infrastructure continues to age and future replacements will be required as we all realize. With a larger and more diversified population base the cost becomes more palatable. Our Club is now in the strongest financial position in many years and a great deal of thanks goes to each and every employee and volunteer for their efforts to improve and sustain this place we call home!
May God Bless
