Audubon Society Discusses Bat Disease

Big Brown Bat Barkshed Saltpeter Cave 2The White-Nose Syndrome in the bat population has become prevalent on the East Coast. Come to the monthly Audubon meeting at Western Sizzlin’ in Clinton on Tuesday, May 27 to learn if the disease is affecting our local bat populations. The “dutch treat” dinner is at 5 p.m. with the program beginning at 6 p.m. The speaker is Blake Sasse who is the Non-game Mammal/Furbearer Program Leader for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
