Indian Rock Questers met at the Kirk Presbyterian Church on January 26, 2015 for their monthly meeting. Elizabeth Newton provided two fantastic desserts; most of us had small pieces of both!!! Our program for the day was costume jewelry. Jean Eaton did a great job describing different types of costume jewelry, shared jewelry books, and had some great examples of costume jewelry. Just about every member brought their own favorite piece to share. What a fun and informative afternoon.
Our next meeting is Monday, February 23, 2015 at the home of Dorie Shuuneson. Ruth Rasmussen will be co-hosting and the program will be “Hankies.” If you would like to come to one of our Questers’ meetings, please call Nancy Mueller at 884-6339 or Willa Wells at 884-3218 for more information.
Please mark, Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 5 p.m. for a pancake supper and silent auction to benefit the Log Cabin Museum. Both Indian Rock and Davis Special Questers will sponsor this event. The pancake supper and silent auction will be held at the Lions Den, Dave Creek Parkway, Fairfield Bay. Admission is $6. Tickets can be purchased in advance from Questers’ member or purchased at the door. Hope to see you there!!!
