Erin Baugh’s Herb classes will continue each month. The next class will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. This time, Erin will teach us about herbal remedies for cold and flu. Erin brings a supply of her herbs and teaches how to make some healthy remedies from all natural ingredients. Those who take Erin’s classes just love the hands-on experience, the helpful brochures containing many recipes and lots of educational information about the herbs used in the class. This class is $35, including all the products you will take home with you. Please call as soon as you can, if you’d like to join this class in particular or get notifications about upcoming classes through email or phone calls.
Computer Basics class will begin March 4, 9 to 11 a.m. at the FFB Community Education Center. The class will meet each Tuesday morning for five consecutive weeks. Lee Phillips, a retired educator, will be happy to instruct anyone who attends the class, offering basic tips and tricks to make your computing much more enjoyable. He encourages questions and strives to make this experience a valuable use of your time. The tuition for this class is still only $35 and we have plenty of laptops for your use during the class so you will have hands on experience to reinforce everything you learn in class. There are still a few openings if you’d like to sign up. Please call the Education Center at 884-4440, email to ffbcec@artelco.com or stop by our office at 120 Village Lane, Suite E, Bldg 5 during our normal business hours: Monday thru Thursday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Stain Glass class will start again after Easter in late April or early May. We have a waiting list already for this popular addition to our schedule.
Finally, we extend our invitation to all in our area to drop by and visit the Education Center, pick up a schedule, tour our facilities and find out more about all the wonderful things you can learn and do here. Remember to think of us when you have visitors and are looking for something to do as a group. We offer a wide variety of “In A Day” classes that you can all enjoy together. The Annual Registration fee of $25 is waived for vacationers since their opportunity to participate is very limited.
