Wanda Watson Duo Coming to Fairfield Bay

October 11, 2017 By Dan Feuer

Very rarely will you find an entertainer whose style and charisma matches their talent or vice-versa. Wanda Watson delivers on both counts. Hard charging and aggressive on one song, tender and emotionally sincere on the next, Wanda Watson makes every song its own. Performing with guitarist, Mark Albertson, Wanda is a definitive blues artist, although her repertoire also includes classic rock, R & B, and ballads.
Whether putting her stamp on original songs or belting out time tested standards, Wanda is a consummate entertainer and crowd pleaser. She can touch an audience like no other, love you like a sister, and vocally embrace you when you are blue. Her performances make every audience member feel that she is there for them alone. From Tulsa, Oklahoma, a city noted for its top shelf musicians and singers, Wanda stands out as a true stylist.
She will appear in Fairfield Bay on Thursday, October 12; 6-8 p.m.; at the Conference Center. This will be a no charge event sponsored by the North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education (NCAFA&E) in tandem with the Arkansas Arts Council. In spite of the no charge status, donations are always cheerfully accepted on site in the interest of continuing support in bringing educational, entertaining and inspiring arts displays and concerts to the community and schools in the area. Expect to be WOWED!
