SENIOR NEEDS re-opens in Fairfield Bay. SENIOR NEEDS is independently, locally owned and operated by Joyce (Slaughter) Dobbs, a long time resident of Fairfield Bay. The vibrant business was an asset to many in the area before closing in year 2011. The closing was due to Ms. Dobbs need to devote more time to the needs of her late husband who had a terminal cancer.
After continuously visiting with friends and neighbors in the area about the great and increasing need for a business like SENIOR NEEDS, Ms. Dobbs made the decision to re-open SENIOR NEEDS. She explains that most of us have experienced the crisis of a friend or loved one suddenly unable to function as well as they had before. Perhaps it was debilitating illness, or post-surgery rehabilitation necessitating days, weeks or months of bed rest. Maybe it was an Alzheimer’s, cancer or other diagnosis requiring frequent medical appointments. Maybe it was someone who just needed companionship or a tiny bit of assistance with a project. Perhaps, the need was not sickness related, but they needed a driver to take them somewhere or it could have been, they might have just needed a co-hostess to assist with home entertaining.
Services offered by SENIOR NEEDS is basically just about any service that a loving daughter would provide. It is the perfect solution for a person to be able to remain living in their own home. Often, it is difficult to find the proper help at the hour of need. If you want to find out more about the services offered, call Senior Needs at 501-884–6550 or 501-253-5600 to see if they can meet your needs or if they can put you in touch with someone who can.
