Recipe of the Month

July 31, 2014 By Dan Feuer

SteakSandwichCroppedPhilly Steak & Cheese

Philly cheese steaks are known for making yummy sandwiches piled high with thin slices of rib eye steak, sweet peppers, and onions. A popular party and game day treat.

Ingredients:

  • 6” Hoagie bun
  • 4 ozs roast beef
  • 1 oz bell pepper sliced (I prefer the red or yellow)
  • 1 oz onion sliced (I prefer the sweeter ones)
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Melted Butter

Preparation:

Sautee onion and bell pepper till desired doneness. When vegetables are done add roast beef to mixture. Stir this all together till mixed thoroughly. While beef and vegetables are cooking, split and toast the hoagie bun. Pile the beef and vegetables on to the bread and top with the cheese. Serve with a side of chips and pickle spear. ENJOY.
