Questers Enjoy Campbell Soup Memorabilia

February 3, 2016 By Dan Feuer

QuestersOn Monday, January 25 the Indian Rock Questers met at the home of Nancy Mueller. Mary Su Forsman provided a delicious dessert and home made cherry-chocolate mice!! Nancy Mueller presented the program; Campbell Soup Company. Many members enjoyed learning about all the “collectibles” that are available out there and the history of the company.
Andy Warhol, during the sixties, did silkscreens on 32 varieties of Campbell Soup; selling for $1,000 in 1962 and now worth 15 million. Nancy was able to use YouTube to show Campbell Soup radio and TV commercials from the 1930s and 1953.
Our next meeting is February 22 and our program will be “Reamers.” If you are interested in joining our group, please call Nancy Mueller at 884-6339. Our motto is “It’s fun to search and a joy to find.”
