The annual Queen’s Ball for the international sorority, Beta Sigma Phi, was celebrated Saturday night at the St. Francis Parrish Hall. It is a Beta Sigma Phi tradition – usually in February for Valentine’s Day – for each chapter to elect a Queen, then all Queens are crowned at the annual dinner-dance. The Fairfield Bay chapters have chosen to celebrate in March instead of February, giving time for many sorority sisters to return from the warm south. Shown left to right are: Alice Chambers, Laureate Alpha Lambda; Frieda McClellan, Zeta Sigma; Shirley Rudolph, Xi Gamma Kappa; Sharon Shafer, Xi Gamma Zeta and Mary Martin, Eta Beta. Congratulations to the beautiful queens!
