Obituary: Doyal Junior Linn

Doyal Junior Linn, 77, of Shirley, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018. Born July 22, 1941 in Eglantine, Arkansas to the late Woodrow Simpson and Frances Victoria Griffith Linn. Doyal served in the United States Army and was owner of Linn Ready Mix for 30+years. He enjoyed raising chickens, cattle, working on his farm; but most of all, he loved his grandkids and he had a big heart.
Left to cherish Doyal’s memory are his wife, Emma Jean Linn; children, Darren and wife Maria Linn of Shirley, Karen and husband Andrew Rodriguez of Exeter, California, Eric and wife Lacy Linn of Shirley, Johnny Hunter of Shirley; siblings, Dorothy Bradford of Eglantine, Betty J. Jones of Eglantine, James and wife Nara Linn of Bee Branch; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
Doyal is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018, 10 a.m. at the Eglantine Church of Christ with Brother Alan Rolen and Brother Richard McCormac officiating.
