“Meet the Master Gardeners” will be held in theVan Buren County Courthouse Annex, 1414 Hway 65S, Clinton, AR, on September 25 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Master Gardener Program of Van Buren County is sponsored by The Cooperative Extension Service and the University of Arkansas. Beautification and education are two of its main purposes. You may become a Master Gardener by successfully completing the training class and then participating in the many projects. Working hours and learning hours, in addition to the class, are part of the payback commitment to become a Van Buren County Master Gardener. At the meeting you will meet many Master Gardeners, see displays of the many projects in the program and find out how to sign up if you want to participate in the 2014 class starting November 4.
You will hear a sample of the speakers for the training classes, a summary of projects and just have a good time.
Master Gardeners are not only good gardeners, they are also excellent cooks. Refreshments will be served.
Master Gardeners form lifelong friendships. They not only share their knowledge , but favorite plants and seeds with each other. We hope you will want to join our group by enrolling in the training class.
