Luau at the Lake, It’s Tiki Time.

August 2, 2018 By Dan Feuer

‘Luau at the Lake’

Inaugural event features authentic pig roast and luau entertainment
on spectacular Greers Ferry Lake
Saturday, August 4th at Fairfield Bay Marina

It’s Tiki Time! Fairfield Bay’s summer fun continues with the inaugural “Luau at the Lake” at the Fairfield Bay Marina. Bring your grass skirts, leis, and flowered shirts and celebrate with a day of games, traditional luau music, and food of an authentic Hawaiian Luau.

“Our summer has never been better,” remarks John Conry, Fairfield Bay Marina Manager. “People love this beautiful lake and we celebrate that as much as we can. So the fun continues with an authentic Hawaiian Luau – from the food to the music to the amazing show, you’ll think you’ve been transported to the big island!”

The fun kicks off at 4:00… with contests for best Hawaiian costume, a Hawaiian dance contest, best hula hoop, and best limbo. There will even be a mechanical bull to ride, sponsored by Steve Landers Cowboy Dodge in Clinton. Can you make it 8 seconds?

What is a Luau Without Food? Dinner will be served at 5:30. Join us as we have a traditional Hawaiian pig roast, as well as an abundance of other island dishes to enjoy. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the Fairfield Bay Marina. Hot dogs and chips will also be available for the kiddos for $5. Tickets are limited, so don’t wait to get yours – you definitely don’t want to miss this party!

All This and a Show! No luau is complete without music. Our Luau will feature the sounds of Hawaiian drums, singers, and a fire show. Sit back and relax as the dancers and fire dancers take you on a journey to the islands – you’ll think you’re really there!
