How many Lions does it take to meet the needs of local communities around the world? At the moment about 1.35 million perform community service in about 208 countries and geographic areas. How many Lions members serve at the Fairfield Bay Lions Club? Currently there are 56 members in Fairfield Bay, serving to support eyesight programs, eyeglass recycling programs and our local youth such as the Cub and Boy Scout programs. How many Lions does it take to make a difference? Any ONE LION can make a difference. Since we’re local we can serve the unique needs of the community we live in, and as we’re global too, we can address the challenges that go beyond boarders. Those of us who have lived in Fairfield Bay or the surrounding area for a few years know that we have many citizens who volunteer their time in many ways. If you are new to the area (or have been here for a while) and wish to contribute to making our community better please consider joining the Fairfield Bay Lions.
