FFB Recreation October E-news

October 5, 2018 By Dan Feuer

Hello beautiful and refreshing Fall.
We are glad you’re here. And there’s still so much left to enjoy outside this year. Join in!

Fall Family night at the park – Oct 19th (movies in the part starts on Oct. 19th)
A favorite is always our Fall Family night at the park. Beginning at 5:00pm on Family Night our Mini-Golf price drops from $8.00 to $3.00 (no additional discount allowed). We will be making fresh-cooked popcorn at our cabana for only $1.00 and will also have canned drinks for $1.00 as well. At dark we will have a movie – this year it’s Hotel Transylvania – in the Amphitheater for your enjoyment. Hope to see you there! You may call the Recreation office at (501) 884-6008 for more information.

Halloween in the Park.
On Friday, October 26th, we will do a really special Halloween Friday in the Park. It will begin at 5:30pm with free Mini-Golf for kids and $3.00 for adults. We will have a costume contest for kids at 6:30, followed by the movie, Hocus Pocus. Prizes awarded (12 and under) for costume contest winners. Free refreshments. Treat bags for everyone coming in costume.
Trunk or Treat, part of the Fall Festival Celebration.
Fairfield Bay Recreation participates in the Fall Festival Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 27th in the marina area. They will be hosting Trick or Treat as part of that event.

Bowling Lanes:
We are getting ready for fall leagues to start. Our Wednesday Morning League will be having an organizational meeting at 9:30am on Wednesday, October 3rd. We encourage anyone interested in that league to be there for the meeting. You may call (501) 884-5300 or 884-6008 to sign up for either league. Our Wednesday morning league play begins on Oct. 10th. Thursday Night league will begin on Oct. 11th. Leagues are fun for everyone! Group Rates are available.

Outdoor Pools:
All outdoor pools are closed as of October 1st. Indoor swimming is still available at the Hart Center, so go check that out!

We hope to see you soon. The only thing missing from our Fall is you! So, plan to visit us soon and often. You WILL Enjoy it!
Jan Vandegrif, FFB Recreation
