Many people have expressed interest in having a local camera club here in Fairfield Bay. In pursuit of that goal, there will be an exploratory and organizational meeting at the Fairfield Bay Community Education Center (in the Mall above the bowling lanes) on Saturday, April 6 at 11 a.m.
Membership is open to anyone who loves to take pictures at any skill level, wants to improve their photography, and share their interest with other photographers. Topics that will be explored at the first meeting will be group photo sessions, informal field trips to nearby sites of interest, portrait photography, nature photography, editing photos, photo critiques, photo contests, guest speakers and much more.
This intial meeting is expected to last from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and will be hosted by Sherry Guess, Director of the Community Education Center, and facilitated by Lee Phillips, Adjunct Instructor. Light snacks will be served. Bring your questions, ideas and digital camera.
