Fairfield Bay Community Education Center announces the following series of arts and crafts workshops. Sue Allen Pico will be the instructor. Tentative schedule for the workshops will be weekly in May and early June. You may be the best Grandma in the world, a Sunday School Teacher, VBS Leader, Homeschool Teacher, Entertainment Director, want to throw an awesome birthday party, or just want to have some GREAT ideas for Arts and Crafts to keep children, adults, or senior adults busy and productive. If you are then, this series of workshops is for you! A hands-on, make and take class for adults and older students. You’ll go home with an arsenal of ideas using supplies you can find around the house. Full of fun, easy, tried and true projects that are sure to provide educational, entertaining, successful experiences for children and adults alike. As always, Sue will give you tips and tricks that will make these projects a guaranteed success. If you have a particular theme in mind, Sue will show you easy ways to slightly modify the projects to fit your theme. The cost is $30 per 3 hour session or all five for $120. Supplies will be provided. Examples of the workshop topics are Masks and Hand Puppets, Crayon Stained Glass, Printing With Sandpaper, Working Knights Helmet, Printing a Checkerboard, Making Beads and Bracelets and Boxes and more Boxes.
