Helping to hang the “Arkansas” exhibit are artists (from left) Joan Bland, Diana Foote, both of Holly Mountain; Judy Shumann, Diamond Bluff; Mary Shelton, Cabot; Charlotte Rierson, Fairfield Bay; and Joyce Hartmann, Choctaw.
“Arkansas” is the theme of the new art exhibit by 14 local area artists hanging near the cafeteria at the Ozark Health Medical Center on S. Highway 65 in Clinton. The public is invited to view the 31 paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor, ink, and colored pencil. Subject matter includes Arkansas lakes and gardens, flowers and pastures, rivers and fish, waterfalls and more. All paintings are for sale, and a portion of each sale is donated to the Hospital Auxiliary. This exhibit sponsored by the North Central Arkansas Artist League will hang until July 14th. Further information about the exhibit or the League can be obtained by calling members or President Joyce Hartmann, 745-6615.
