Web Exclusive: Recreation Tip: Try some great indoor activities!

bowlingAs the weather changes, those in the Bay enjoy spending some of their leisure time indoors. There are many ways to stay active!  Learning a new or refining a technique or skill at the Continuing Education Center, strengthening the body for the upcoming golf or tennis season at the Hart Center, singing in one of the church choirs, getting active in one of the art leagues, participating in one of the many card playing groups, and the list could go on!

If you are searching for your niche and wanting to be active with others, getting involved at Spare Time Bowling is a wonderful way to do it!  Tim Hallet, owner of the bowling alley, offers a lot of activity this time of year. First of all, there are leagues running all winter on Tuesday and Wednesday in the evening.  This is a great way to socialize and have fun with other local residents.  There are also multiple specials to encourage you to set foot in the alley throughout the week.  On Saturday, there is Laser Light bowling.  On Fridays, All You Can Bowl Night, is only $10 per person with a minimum of three people per lane.  That is a deal!  Friday also offers a fun night of billiards with a weekly pool tournament.  For more information, you can reach Tim at Spare Time Bowling at 501.884.5300.
