It’s hard to eat healthy when we all want to go out to eat. Here are a few things you can do to be a little healthier when going out to eat. Instead of ordering a soda or sweet tea, ask for water. When ordering a sandwich ask for whole wheat bread and for a side, as for a salad. Build your salad full of vegetables and a low calorie dressing. For main dishes, stay away from fried or greasy foods. Look for grilled or baked dishes on the menu. Lastly, if you are feeling that craving for a sweet, eat fruit such as, strawberries, peaches, pineapple, cantaloupe and grapes.
