To the Community Club Membership

An election to choose 3 members of the Board of Directors will be held in June. Ballots will be mailed to all members in good standing and must be received by June 27, 2013. There are in fact two elections, as the partial term of 2 years is considered separately from the two 3-year positions. Candidates have selected which position they are running for, and the electorate must choose one of two candidates for the 2-year term, and two of three candidates for the 3-year terms. This can be confusing, so take care in marking your ballot.

One should choose carefully when assigning responsibility for running a $7 million operation with over 90 employees. The résumés of all 5 candidates for the 3 positions will be distributed with the ballots, but also will be available in the FFB News and online in our e-news atwww.fairfieldbaynews.com.

The Board commends to all to review not only the résumés, but to seek out answers to specific questions you may have regarding the candidates’ qualifications. The members selected this year will be guiding the future of Fairfield Bay for the next 3 years or more. Make sure you vote for the candidates who will best strive to make that future bright.
