On January 8, a discussion will be held on “Catholic Teaching on the Death Penalty.”
On February 9, Patrick Gallaher will explain, on a Sunday afternoon, “Where does all the money go that I give to the diocese to help needy people?”
One of the highlights will be “Catholic Trivia Night,” February 22, where teams of 4 people will compete in Faithful Feud, a take off of Family Feud and Who Wants to be a Bible Millionaire, which is a take off of Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
On March 1, people who want to discuss the book, “Pope Francis,” by Robert Munson, will meet at Jack’s Convenience Store at 10 a.m.
Then, in March, we will be watching “Message of Divine Mercy” and “Walking on Water – The Faith of Peter” on dvd.
The final activity will be forming Bible study groups to discuss the Gospel of Matthew, which is the Gospel that is being read during the year’s mass.
It is a very busy year and other activities will be added as they become available. A revised Parish Library has been set up in the back of the church for people to borrow a book/cd/dvd to update your faith.
