The Fairfield Bay Community Club Marina is pleased to announce the establishment of a Public Fishing Area. At the request of several members, the Marina Manager, Jim Stafford, considered alternatives to providing convenient fishing access to members and visitors who just want to ‘wet a hook’. The area on the right, just before you get to the marina, will be designated a Public Fishing Area. Convenient steps are in place to provide access to the lake at just about any water level. Licenses, tackle, and bait are available at the Marina to afford a great fishing experience. After Christmas, local citizens are encouraged to place their trees (no artificial trees, please) in the area below the steps. We would like to thank you for the suggestion and are confident this will make for a better vacation experience for some of our tourists. Expect to see signage designating the Public Fishing Area in the next month or so.
