The next five session Oil Painting series begins Thursday, April 25 at 9:30 a.m. The subject will be a great painting for learning the technique of shading and highlighting. Stroke work is also learned and includes how and when to use your liner brush from small thin lines to broader and flowing lines as well as lines for trees and limbs. Learning how to shade a building or barn, knowing how the light source hits one side, then darkens is also included. Always think as you paint, light to dark, then contrast. Beginners are welcome as well as all levels of painters. Brushes needed: 1 or 2 stubby brushes , #1 liner(can all be purchased in class). Also need #6,8 or 10 bristle brush. Paint colors needed are: white, cadmium yellow light, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Terra Verda Green, Black, Cadmium Red Medium Liquin- Medium for Oil. Hope to see you all in class!
