The North Central Arkansas Foundation for Arts and Education (NCAFA&E) will present pianist Neil Rutman in a free concert on Sunday, November 7, at 2 p.m. at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church, 250 Dave Creek Parkway, Fairfield Bay. Mr. Rutman has received worldwide acclaim for his compelling and atmospheric piano recitals, orchestral performances and recordings. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, and Tokyo’s Bunka Kaikan. Mr. Rutman is currently Artist-In-Residence at the University of Central Arkansas where his students have won top prizes in international competitions. Two of his UCA students, Yuezhi (Jack) Dou of China and Martin Gerov of Bulgaria, will be joining Dr. Rutman on the stage.
Also on the program will be Hannah Cruse, a 16 year old oboist and pianist from Edgemont. She will be accompanied by pianist Terry Lee.
The musical program will include works by Rameau, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Liszt, Prokofiev, and Gershwin. The public is cordially invited to attend.
