The North Central Arts Foundation for Arts & Education has some exciting events coming up for students, and the general public! The NCAFAE, in conjunction with (AAC) Arkansas Arts Center, is bringing the Artmobile to local schools in an effort for children to be exposed to the art from the AAC. This is the 50th year for the Artmobile and an exciting event. The Artmobile will visit the Quitman School until the morning of Wednesday, February 13, and then travel to South Side School, Bee Branch in the afternoon of Wednesday February 13 through February 15. It will then travel to the Shirley School on March 11 through 15. The Artmobile will be available for viewing the art during school hours and is open to the public, come by and see the Artmobile tour. Thanks to First Service Bank for their generous donation to bring the Artmobile to the area schools.
Be sure to attend the “Arkansas Tales” Part 2, performed by the Arkansas Tele A Troup, at West Side School in Greers Ferry. This fun event will take place on Wednesday, February 20 at 9:30 a.m. The Young Artists Concert will take place on Sunday, March 3 at the Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian. Everyone is invited. The return of Philippe Strings will be a highlight, along with a young flute player and others. Mark your calendar and join the NCAFAE for a fun event.
