Sheryl Paxton assumed management of the FFB Marina in late February and her imprint is already evident in the changes occurring at your Marina.
Sheryl is the primary presenter at the Monday morning welcome breakfasts, joined by Mayor and Club GM, Paul Wellenberger. The message to guests is “have fun while in the Bay” and Sheryl has amped up the fun at the Marina. If you haven’t visited “down there” in a while, you owe yourself a look. Just of few of the most obvious improvements are:
The FFB Marina is now the premiere place to find Fairfield Bay logo-wear. Extra space has been committed to merchandise display and a fitting room is now available.
Cruises on both the SugarLoaf Shuttle and the Belle of the Bay are running at capacity and even requiring additional trips be added to meet demand. The Belle of the Bay experience now includes availability of box lunches from the Little Red Restaurant that may be ordered at the time of the reservation, turning an already wonderful cruise into a delicious lunch cruise.
The FFB Marina is becoming the most fishing friendly marina on Greers Ferry Lake. Working with the local fishermen and guide services, Sheryl is stocking baits they recommend and is in the process of incorporating live baits into the offering. The FFB Marina served as the weigh-in point for the recent walleye tournament.
The fish feeding frenzy is one of the most popular photo ops for Bay visitors and the fish are back! Throw in the pedal boats that are on order and the fun keeps growing for those visiting the FFB Marina. Make sure your visiting family and friends enjoy a marina tour. When was the last time you played tourist in your own back yard? Enjoy your marina and beautiful Greers Ferry Lake.
