The Kirk Men’s Club will be preparing lunch for the Annual Bazaar at the Kirk of the Hills on Saturday, November 3rd. Above are Bob Berdine and Jerry Thompson, our chefs of the day, getting some extra practice for this event. Lunch will be served starting at 11 a.m.. The Kirk Men are known throughout the Bay for the great job they do in serving hot dogs, sandwiches, and other great food at the various festivals around the Bay, so come, do your shopping, and enjoy a wonderful lunch. Be sure to bring your Christmas list for the wonderful Christmas gifts you will find at this year’s Bazaar. You may want to buy chances for three beautiful quilts which will be chosen at the event. Chances for first, second, and third place are six for $5.00, and you don’t have to be present to win. Any one of these quilts would make a spectacular gift, or something for your own home. Besides the quilts there will be many mixes for teas, soups, and cookies, jars of home made jellies and jams, pickles, and our famous salsa sauce. We also have many craft items this year such as jewelry, kitchen towels, ornaments, and other clever gifts you can use on your Christmas list. There will also be a fantastic BAKE SALE you can take advantage of—our Presbyterian Women are great cooks and have a new cookbook for sale that would make a wonderful gift for someone on your list. Remember the date, November 3, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills, 250 Dave Creek Parkway. For further information call 884-3304.
