Jose’s Mexican Restaurants in Fayetteville and Springdale recently completed a Summer and Fall “Bike Night” promotion that featured prizes of FFB “Someday Passes” for winners at each location. The winners were Larry Whittle and Sharon Yancy. The Someday Pass entitles each of them (with a guest) to spend 3 days/2 nights in one of our SummerHill Condos, enjoy 2 rounds of golf on the IHGC, enjoy a 2 hour pontoon boat rental, play two rounds of miniature golf and enjoy a Buy one, Get one dinner at IHCC. All they had to do to be eligible to win these great “Passes” was register their email address at a Jose’s location. Over 5000 local and distant patrons of Jose’s registered during the contest. Registrations included visitors from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. “Bikers” today at this type event are typically white collar workers with a good bit of discretionary income. Many are nearing retirement age. The “Someday Pass” is a $480 value, normally promoted at $295. Our cost of this promotion represents no out of pocket dollars. Jose’s has promoted FFB in two emails to these 5000 recipients and we provided posters and fliers during the promotion. FFB will soon be a link on Jose’s website. The “Someday Pass” will be an important part of our 2013 marketing plan as we begin to offer it through all our advertising mediums. Do you know someone who would like to visit FFB for 3 days and 2 nights, enjoying golf, boating, and all the Bay has to offer for only $295? We have postcards available for you to mail to such friends. Just see Sharon Boone at the Club offices to pick up one. Community Club Board of Directors, Dwayne Miller.
