The Indian Rock Questers met this week in the home of Elizabeth Newton for it’s annual Christmas luncheon with emphasis on the celebration of 35 years as Questers. The Chapter was approved for National Membership on December 5, 1977. The national organization has now grown to international proportions with chapters from Canada to China and the provine of Puerto Rico.
The Indian Rock chapter follows the purpose of Questers which is to educate by research and study of antiques and to donate funds to the preservation and restoration of existing memorials, historical buildings, landmarks and educational purposes. The members of Indian Rock are active and loyal as they serve as state officers as well as the local level. The 63rd international convention will be in May 2013 in Rogers Arkansas. If you are interested in Questers, please call President Beth Tucker at 884-4984.
