Indian Rock Questers met at the home of Willa Wells on November 16, 2015. Co-Hostess was Jean Eaton who provided us with a delicious spice dessert. Willa Wells asked members to share memories and traditions of their Family Thanksgiving gatherings. Our 2016 State Spring Convention is April 15 and 16, 2016 in Bentonville, AR. Our purpose is to appreciate antiques, to educate through research and study and to support the preservation and restoration of historical landmarks. We meet the last Monday of the month at 1 p.m. If you are interested in attending one of our informative programs, please call Nancy Mueller at 884-6339.
Willa Wells from Indian Rock Questers brought two antique, metal hand bracelets that snapped around the wrist to our November 16, 2015 meeting. Betsy Slaughter looked on line and found numerous hand bracelets similar to the one we had. There was a small string hanging down from one of the triangles which could have at one time connected a ring to keep the triangle flat on your hand. If you have seen something like this before, please call Willa Wells, Indian Rock Questers President, at 884-3218. Our group sure would like to find out more on this.
