Still plenty of Summer Fun to be Had.
Our awesome summer season is winding down a bit. Soon the kids will be getting ready to go back to school and that is full of its own excitement, but the fun is not over yet. Fairfield Bay Recreation operates year around and our focus changes a little, but we are still here to serve you. You can call or come by our office for information about the area and things to do here. We have our classes all year and the schedule changes seasonally.
SAVE THE DATE: Endless Summer Bash – Saturday, Sept. 1st
GREAT FUN to be had yet this summers. Join us for our Endless Summer party on Saturday, Sept. 1st at the Bayview Pool here in Fairfield Bay. We will again have a cookout with hamburgers or dogs, chips and a canned drink for a special low price. Lawn games will be available. The highlight of the day will be an evening concert by Heath Sanders, an awesome country singer/song writer and an up-and-coming star. He has a truly authentic voice and is taking the country world by storm. Check out his viral U-Tube video. The Bash will also include a Pickle ball tournament with David Redding as tournament director. Registration forms will be available soon. Call our office for more information.
Mini Golf – way to play 18 holes! Bowling anyone?
We want to encourage everyone to remember that our Mini-Golf Courses are open until Thanksgiving Weekend (weather permitting) and the Fairfield Lanes Bowling Center, Arcade and Café. We are a six lane, retro. Bowling Center and are located in the mall area on the lower level across from Regions Bank. It’s the perfect activity for when you want to get out of the heat but still want to be active. We are open Tues. – Sat. from 3-9pm. Enjoy some of the best fast food around. Our burgers, tater tots and chicken strips are really good as well as other menu items as well. Friday and Saturday nights are Black Light nights when you can bowl under “Black” lane lights at no additional charge.
The Bayview Pool, Cool Pool Café and Souvenir Shop continues to be our most popular summertime activity. Tuesday Nights are “Dive-In Movie Nights” where dining, swimming and a movie can all be combined into one wonderful evening. The movie starts as soon as it’s dark enough (appx. 8:00-8:30pm) Come out and enjoy the movie and “night swim”. Pool closes when movie is over. They are PG family movies and most are animated and perfect for the kids. Bring the family and enjoy.
We hope to see you soon. The only thing missing from our Summer is you! So, plan to visit us soon and often. You WILL Enjoy it!
Hope to see you soon!
