The Bay continues to be a popular destination with timeshare visitors. 2013 saw Wyndham rent over 6,000 rooms with over 17,000 guests visiting FFB.

The past two years the Club has sponsored a Monday morning welcome breakfast @ IHCC during the “season” for all interested Wyndham guests. That effort is being replaced by a new city sponsored “Discover Fairfield Bay” breakfast on Monday mornings beginning March 3rd this year. Mayor Paul Wellenberger and Recreation Director Sheryl Paxton are the hosts of these events.

The Conference Center will host these events, insuring every Wyndham guest as well as guests visiting the Bay in local campgrounds or utilizing available overnight rentals, have the opportunity to “discover” all the Bay has to offer. Residents of the Bay are encouraged to bring their visiting guests as well.

The Club will be funding a portion of the costs to promote our amenities of Marina, golf course, Top of the Rock, tennis courts, mini golf, pools, etc. The City is inviting all interested businesses in the Bay to participate and also contribute to the costs of these presentations. By doing so, they will be providing much needed funds to support the operation of the new Conference Center while educating and encouraging guests to visit their business while in the Bay.

The Conference Center is a powerful new marketing tool for FFB. Please support it with your attendance at events to insure it prospers during it’s initial year of operation. For more information on the “Discover” meetings, please contact the Conference Center at 884-4202.
