Ms. Sarah Sexton of the White River Regional Solid Waste Management District has informed the City of Fairfield Bay that we have been selected to receive an additional grant for enhancements to our Recycle Education Center. The 75/25 grant for the $2,300 project provides funding for the purchase of a TV, DVD player, videos, signs, books, and other education material.
Watch for more information on a grand opening of the Recycle Education Center planned for April 18 at 11 a.m. We are inviting school officials, waste management professionals from across the state, and our elected officials.
