A major part of the Conference Center will focus on the arts. In addition to the Our Towne Performing Arts Theatre we will have a Fine Arts Gallery. The gallery will be an integral part of the total conference center. Art of various venues will be on display for viewing as well as for sale. Charlotte Rierson has agreed to become our Coordinator for the North Central Arkansas Art Gallery. We are so pleased that Charlotte has accepted this responsibility and is also a member of our steering committee. Charlotte is known for her exceptional art and has received awards and recognition from the art community on a state and national level. Charlotte is hard at work coordinating the efforts of our local artists and bringing in art from around the state for our newly renovated conference center. Our goal is to make the conference center here in Fairfield Bay a center for art in North Central Arkansas. Recently Charlotte and a group of local artists toured the center to see the construction and how the art will fit into the finished product. Please see the photo attached.

Charlotte’s dedication and commitment to this new opportunity and the support of our art community will be fun and exciting to watch in the weeks to come as everything comes together. Please watch for additional information and happenings as we continue to Bring-Back-the-Bay.
