Annual 4th of July Parade Honors WWII Veterans

According to many spectators, this years’ 4th of July Parade in Fairfield Bay was the biggest and best so far! There were 52 entries in the parade, including 19 WWII Veterans honored for their service, securing the freedoms that we still enjoy today. The fireworks display was the biggest so far, with a 45 minute show. There was a flurry of activity at Woodland Mead Park with the Horse Tales Literacy Project and the many vendors showing and serving up their wares. Look for more parade photos next week.                            Photos courtesy of Lee Phillips.
