Each 4th of July weekend, hundreds join in this patriotic celebration at Fairfield Bay. The weekend activities kick off Friday July 3rd with a traditional town parade, showcasing floats from Fairfield Bay and neighboring towns. The 4th of July weekend celebration says a lot about The Bay, with its strong sense of community and deeply felt national pride. A majority of the Bay’s residents have served in the military and it shows with flags flying all over this beautiful community. Quite a site to see. Then comes the big fireworks display. This day-long celebration is a must summertime experience for anyone longing for a time when things were less busy.
